Baguio's main street haven : Session Road

Lower Session Road, Baguio City
Session Road, Baguio City is the main street for businesses here in Baguio City.  It is divided into 2 parts:  Lower Session Road which starts from Malcolm Square going up to Our Lady of Atonement Cathedral. The Upper Session Road extends from the Post office Loop going up to Luneta Hill (where SM is located) down to Panagbenga Park where 2 roads intersect going to South Drive and Loakan Road.

This street is a very busy street from the wee hours in the morning up to late evenings where you can find different bars, inns, restaurants, supermarkets and department stores.

Session Road is famous for young people in love to date, friends bond together, business meetings cook up and families gather together and spend everyday or weekends and during special occasions to dine at fancy restaurants such as Greenwich, Chowking, Andoks, McDo, Oh my Gulay (famous for it's artistic ambiance and vegetable menus), KFC, Solibao(known for it's Filipino recipes), Sizzling Plate(where steaks are really good), Pizza Hut  and the most destined place at SM where various restaurants and shopping comes together.  At night, Session road comes alive with videoke bars and sing along bars which opens up until dawn and serves tourists and locals alike.

According to history, Session Road came about because this street was then the route going to Baden Powell Inn, which  serves as the place where the First Philippine Commission held their sessions and meetings from April 22 until June 11, 1904.  Nowadays, Baden Powell Inn is used as an inn for travelers and is well known for it's regular gigs at the Ayuyang Bar where live music and artists come together to spend the evening.
